THE DESIRE'S FATE

THE DESIRE'S FATE

BY

S. MAHESHKUMAR

If there is no desire
There will be no meaning in life

Desires, unlike that of others
Must have noble leadings

Unlike the ordinary mortals
Those who have simple desires

We must worship the truth
Which will lead us to nobility

But the concept of truth differs
As the wisdom of one's with one's spirituality

So, in the world of wisdom of absurdity
We pray God in a blind way for transcendentality

There is something called Desire-less desire. This can be attributed to the desire that does not leave a trail of unhappiness even if it doesnt get fulfilled. For example, the desire shown by a Guru to correct and guide a disciple. Even if that desire is not fulfilled, this doesnt bother the desirer to go into self depricating mode due to the non fulfillment of it.

Dear Kaushik,
Your phrase, "Desireless Desire" is a Self-Contradiction!

"...So, in the World of Wisdom of absurdity, We pray God in a blind way for Transcendentality." Worshipping the Truth is the Noblest Desire that one can have in this transient world. Even the Gods perish but in longer duration unlike the ordinary mortals. Hence the Gods are Extra-ordinary Mortals! The gist of the poem sums up to the Noble Desire that transforms us into the Eternal Transcendentality!
