THE MORTAL THOUGHTS
BY
S. MAHESHKUMAR
Thoughts are generated in the self
As a kind of polishing the mind
All the residues thus accumulated
Are gathered in various forms
That form can be another self
It can also be written script
There is an equality between dead thoughts and dead people
Dead thoughts are packed in book-coffins
They are buried in library-cemeteries
And they are subjected to innumerable autopsies by the doctors of letters
They decay as royal food for the book worms
As we are to the scavengers, et al
The world is a product of thoughts
And they die always to bestow us eternity
